Consignor Portal Overview

The Consignor Portal gives your consignors real-time access to their sales, payouts, and inventory. You can invite consignors to create an account through the app.

Consignor Portal Customization

You can personalize the consignor portal to match your store’s branding and control the information visible to consignors.

To customize the portal:
Go to the Settings tab in the app and click on Portal.
From here, you can:
  • Add your store logo to appear at the top of the portal
  • Update the portal’s color scheme to match your brand
  • Control visibility of key data 
These customizations help ensure your consignors have a professional, branded, and tailored experience when accessing their account.

Consignor Account Registration and Setup

Consignors must register for a portal account before they can access any data. There are two ways to begin the registration process:

          

Option 1: Self-Registration

Consignors can register directly using the following link:
https://[your-shop-domain].myshopify.com/apps/vendor-portal/login/?register=1

This link can also be found in the Portal Accounts tab. Once a consignor registers, you’ll receive a notification prompting you to activate their account.

Option 2: Send an Invite

You can invite a consignor to register from their profile:
  1. Go to the Consignors tab and select the consignor's profile
  2. In Settings, add their email address under Contact Information
  3. Click Invite to Portal under the Actions menu

This will send an email to the consignor with a registration link and instructions. Once they complete registration, you can proceed to activate their account. 

Activating a Consignor Portal Account

Once a consignor has registered, activate their account so they can view their data:
  1. Navigate to the Consignor Portals tab
  2. Click Edit Account next to the new registration

  3. Search for the consignor’s name as it appears in the Consignors tab

    • Note: If you’re using product tag tracking, exclude the tag prefix when searching
  4. Click Save
The consignor will receive a notification and can log in to access their sales, payouts, and inventory. 


⚠️ Important:
Before a consignor portal account can be activated, the consignor must first exist as an active consignor in the Consignors tab.
