Commission Settings

Commissions can be calculated based on various settings. You can find your global commission configurations under the settings tab-> commissions. 

Calculation type

Percentage- App will awarded a percentage of each items sale price to the vendor it is assigned to. Enter the percentage you want to pay your vendor into the global commission box. You can set individual vendor rates inside their vendor account settings. 

Flat Rate- When a product is sold, the app will award your vendor the value entered in the cost_per_item field located on your products in Shopify. 

Product Type- You can assign a percentage or value based on the product type. This will override the global commission for all products included in that category. All product types are created and assigned when adding products in  Shopify. 

Calculate by Profit- This will take the sale price and subtract the cost per item before calculating the commission. This can be applied to all vendor in the global commission settings, or set for specific vendors only in their vendor account settings. 

Discounts

First decide who is responsible for discounts:
Vendor- The discount value will be deducted from the awarded commission. 

Store- The vendors commission will be calculated on the original sale price. 

Equal- Half the discount on an order will be deducted from your vendors commission. (Ex: discount= $2.00; Commission = $5.00; Final Commission: $5.00- $1.00 (half the discount)= $4.00 commission awarded)

*By default, the commission is calculated on the sale price (before a discount is deducted). If you would like to deduct the discount from the sale price before calculating the commission, check the "discount reduction before commission calculation" box. This only applies when discount responsibility is set to "vendor" or "equal."

Date to start tracking commissions

Since the app directly integrates with your Shopify store, it will pull all past orders over to your account and assign commissions accordingly. Input a "date to start tracking" if you would like the app to ignore owed commissions before this date.
