How do I add a consignor to Visceral Consignment?
Consignor accounts are created through their products in Shopify. Simply add their name to your chosen tracking field on the product in Shopify and Visceral will pull that information over and create an account for them if one does not already exist. See our tutorial here for more information.
Can I import existing consignor, product, and sales data from other systems?
Consignor data cannot be imported directly into Visceral Consignment. All data should be imported into and managed within your Shopify account. Visceral will automatically pull the necessary information into the app using your chosen tracking method.
Can I add multiple consignors to a single product?
No, Visceral Consignment can only track a single consignor to each product.
How do I delete a consignor?
You can remove any consignor from your active consignors list by selecting "Archive" in their individual account settings.
Consignor Portal & Access
Can consignors access a portal to view their sales and inventory?
Yes. Consignor portal access is available with our Standard and Premium plans. Consignors can log in to view their sales, payouts earned and received, and product information. This feature is not available on the Basic plan.

Payouts
How are payout amounts calculated?
Payout amounts are based on your commission settings. You can use the formula builder to create different commission profiles, which can be assigned to each consignor in their individual settings.
Can I override a payout amount?
Yes, you can override any payout by clicking the amount and entering a new value. An asterisk will appear next to any order that has been manually adjusted.
Can I set up automatic payouts?

Orders & Syncing
What happens if an order is refunded?
If an order is refunded, Visceral Consignment will change the payout amount to $0 and display the "refunded order" icon for any unpaid orders. Visceral Consignment is unable to modify an awarded payout once it has been marked as paid.
How often are orders synced from my store to Visceral Consignment?
Visceral Consignment syncs product and order data in real time.

Is there a limit on the number of consignor accounts, products, or orders?
The basic subscription plan limits the number of consignors to three. There is no limit for the standard and premium plans. There is no limit on products or orders with any of our subscription plans.
